opinion on my guitar tone

hey guys i want my guitar tone to be the best it can be so please tell me what you think i can do to improve!
chain is reamped Bugera 6260 through an avatar 2x12 with an i5 and sm57

Everything on the background sounds...wimpy.
Guitars lack bite, and definition; but could work on a given mix though.
Maybe the amp was a too quiet?

Amp was on about 4 how can I make it less wimpy and more defined?

level up the mid section on the guitars brother it will give more definition to your tone
