Resurecting my Deep Purple Tribute Band.......Is this music loved by youth on any level?

Being one of the youthful demographic mentioned, I like this music! But, overall...the kids don't know Sh*t of the 60's/70's.
Actually, I LOVE what Blackmore did in Rainbow, tenfold.
