Signal Chain: Jackson Soloist w/ duncan distortion tb6 > Vypyr 120 Tube Combo > Behringer Ultra DI > PreSonus 22VSL > Ola's impulses from Feared album.

I'm feeling some plastic-ness on the guitar sound... sometimes i think I should give up making the vypyr sound like a real tube amp and buy a proper head.

The drums are a bit boomy and need to work on that too.

Don't mix the problem out, there obviously some shitty settings on whatever equipment you are dealing with, the basic raw mic'd signal should sound tons better than that one, even if it's an ampsim you should get better results by just throwing a decent impulse and a amp sim with settings on "factory"

I got rid of some of the plasticness (tx for the suggestions), and added a KSE vocal track (My Curse) for fun and to see how it would end up with a voice on top of it and I loled at the result.

The original sounds a bit scratchy for me. This newer version is better... you certainly raped that KSE song.

- removed voice
- removed drum loops

- added solo guitar (bugera 6260)
- added real played drums by myself (quantized 1/8 afterwards)

now: need to finish the song and make proper synced videos :|

There is something I still don't like in the rhythm guitars but I don't know what it is :|
