Killer song!!!! I put it on my High School open house video last year. It works really well with stuff like that.

2nd fave song after Candlelight Fantasia. It has everything in it without being extremely long. The emotional and aggressive vocals, plenty of prog, perfect heavy tone (the first minute or so sets the mood superbly). It's one of my fave songs ever.

I love it, there is an incredible amount of variation on the track and Pinella's extraordinarily keyboard playing holds it all together...it also reaches an acceptable level of theatricality without sounding overly bombastic.

Everytime i listen to it i like it more thanb the time before! I still think Awakenings has the extra edge over it.

Took me a while to sit down and listen to this one because there were so many others that pervaded my senses first.. each song for me has its own time for my heart to discover it, rediscovery had its time only a few weeks ago where i completely fell in love.. its amazing, i think definately the best V song. Only wish i could change my vote on that poll because it wasnt until after it that i truly discovered how remarkable rediscovery is.

i love how it puts in a lot of themes from earlier in the cd...
it is a great way to end a concept album...with that medley kind of thing

just like overture 1928 has a few of the themes that would be used later


if i ever wrote a concept album there would definitely be recurring themes...like the same theme done in variations over a few songs.

Definately one of the best songs ever... as Demonspell said, it does have an incredible amount of variation... and exceptional keyboards... it's quite dramatic, angry, twisted and violent... the guitar riffs and solos are sick... and Rullo contributes one of his finest performances... full of tight execution, explosive fills and time sig manipulation

I've been saying that ever since the live album was released, a complete performance of V would have been extraordinary...
