Orange #4 "Jim Root" Head & Cab Demo

Hallo,
I just received my new Orange Mini Stack last week and wanted to share my first experiences with you. I had the great stems of the mix practice from Ola Englund here, so I took them to reamp with this little Terror.

I had to put a TS 808 (DIY musikding.de "Screamer") in Front of it, to get more bite and to get the bass and lower mids tight. For the rest just Head, Cab and a single SM57, placed a little bit of center.

Sounds pretty good, could you post a raw track or a playtrough too?
Where are the differences between the #4 and the standard orange 2x12 cabs?

I will do a playthrough on my own in the next days. ATM we are comparing different guitars and pickups for recording our upcoming demos - I promise, I shoot a short clip.

I have to admit, this is my first Orange Amp, I´m normally more into Mesa. But, as far, as I know, the Jim Root Cab has other speakers, developed together with Orange and Jim Root matching to the head. But I will give the Head a try in our rehearsal room with my Mesa 2x12.

Hmm. Tis missing some low-end thump to me, not sure if that's the amp or cab.

$10 says its the amp. The TT and DT have the same problem even through a full 4x12. Since it has an effects loop they should run it into a 100W power section and see if its the EL84's sucking.
