Just saw a local store selling it used for 400 usd. what do you think? shall i go for it? i have engl powerball and clasdic 50. is the orange something special?

That's overpriced for a used head - I bought and sold mine for $330. I don't like them, really raunchy and honky and really lack any kind of low end power/presence.

+1 on the whole remark except sold for $300

I like Orange amps, but the Tiny Terror series isn't "where its at". I will say it has a great clean tone if you're looking for pick articulation and warmth. If you want an Orange, save your pennies for a Rockerverb or Thunderverb because those amps wipe the floor with the Tiny Terrors

Great for indie rock, fuzzy tones, you know..these kind of things. Sucks for modern, radio rock stuff and heavier.

well thanks for your input guys. i will skip it i guess, i dont really need any amp. i thought that it was a good deal.

I own both a Tiny and a Dual Terror, and I actually love em both.
I find the "tone" knob to be really tricky, it might take some time to get to know how it behaves and to find the sweet spots, but once you get there (and you fiddle with a boost in front of it) it's a great little amp. It took me some time to actually begin to appreciate it...

The tiny terror isn't really suited for metal. Sure there are probably videos on YouTube where people are proving that it can do metal but "it can do metal" is not "it can do metal well". But if you want some Marshall esque tones but with more low end balls then get one.
