Does anyone know how to remove the Diamond plate on the front of a Dual Rec? I have a friend that's going to powder coat it for me, but i looked in the back and there arent any screws.
I was wondering the same thing. I was wanting to replace the diamond plate on my triple recto with smoked plexi glass so you can see all the purdy tubes I f you find out how to do it let me know man.
it's held on with Industrial adhesive. and there's a full peice of wood behind it as well. I just broke out the masking tape and spraypaint, not as nice as a powdercoat, but you can't take it off without breaking something. Maybe if you heat it up first? but it's easy to burn something that way.
I'll probably do it over xmas, the faceplate isn't glued on or anything so I'll just take it off and spray it with car paint or something. Black and Chrome :Smug:
