WTF?? I saw them play a new song on Jay Leno, what is wrong with these guys? They are doing david bowie songs and what not. Just put out that record. I wish they would do a heavy metal album for one time before they die off lol

Yeah I guess the new album is all covers of 70's songs. I heard a few quick clips on the radio yesterday. It didn't sound too bad for what it was...

yeah i guess your right 'for what it is' the songs are not done badly it just doesn't make sense to me why they do albums like this when they could do a kick ass metal album like high and dry or pyromania and do just fine. Oh well i guess they already have all the money they could ever dream of so might as well do what makes them happy so props to them i suppose :)

I saw Def Leppard on Leno as well. What a surprise to see them there. I know what you mean about what they played. But then again, I've never been interesed in their changed style since after about their third album. When I hear the name Def Leppard, I still think of Wasted, and Rock Brigade, Let it go, etc. That's the Leppard I like! I was fortunate to see them way back when the drummer still had two arms (I think it was the Pyromania tour) and I think they opened for Billy Squire at Irvine Meadows.

Def Lep went DOWNHILL at Pyromania in my opinion. On through the night and high n dry are great rock albums... then they turned into a cheesey pop band. YUK!

I saw the Leno performance too and was pretty suprised. I thought it was Jack Russel at first! LOLOL!! THey didn't sound bad, just not like the Leppard sound I hear when I think of Def Leppard, other than the backing vocals. Kudos to them for sticking together this long and still going strong! I saw the Pyromania tour too Red Shirt.

Hahaha...couldn't agree with you more. There's only a few songs on there that I like, Die Hard The Hunter is one that comes to mind. But Pour Some Sugar On Me is for the birds. YUK! That definitely was the start of their change and DOWNHILL from there, atleast to our ears.
