OT NIN release HD Live show Footage for Free

God Bless Trent Reznor!!!

When the old record label Nazi's tried to stop him he releases 3 torrents of 450Gb (yep) worth of HD footage taken by some `fans' at 3 shows at last years Lights in the Sky tour (apparently their best shows ever).

Fans are now collaborating to put together this high quality footage into a free DVD for other fans.

A lot of people mocks him and his attitude to record-companies but I think it´s a awsome thing he´s doing.

yeah i don't expect any artist to do what he does but it sure does make me that much more loyal. i can't wait to see a finished product. oh and on a side note he refuses to have a pay membership fanclub

Kinda hoping that Trent is setting the bar and perhaps a trend for future bands we love in that they just bypass the labels and deal 1 on 1 with the fans. Heck if bands I love were to distribute stuff like this occassionally for free I would gladly donate more of my money to them to repay them for their hard work.
