Lately ive been digging non-metal stuff like Celine Dion, Fleetwood Mac, Melissa Etheridge and Oldies music.

the song Landslide (dont get the chixie dicks version) is just wonderful. The music puts me in a more relaxed and tranquil mood.

anton - not a one dimensional kind of guy.

A little variety in the music is always good. This is what i've been diggin' these days (non metal)

Steve Vai
Castlevania soundtrack (thank you Dado! haha)
Allan Holdsworth
And various live performances by classical orchestras

Joni Mitchell (!!!), Loreena Mckennitt, Stevie Nicks, Dan Fogelberg,
Blackmore's Night to name a few, + older prog such as Renaissance(!!!), Uriah Heep, Saga, etc... I despise Rap and most "country" music, and moany female singers. I'm a sucker for good singer-songwriters who write "deep" meaningful lyrics. :)

Anybody listen to Cocteau Twins? Darn cool music. Been listening to them for several years now. I got turned onto them in 99. They've got about 2 decades of material, and I've got all of it!

John Lurie - Marvin Pontiac is pretty weird stuff, but definitly cool.

Beethoven(Currently listening to his A Minor String Quartet right now which is UNBELIEVABLE!)

I like a lot of 80's/new wave music too.

I really like any music that is well written, so the word genre is pretty moot. It's either good music or it's not. Simple.
