ah, i didn't see this thread...no, i haven't! i don't know much about it, either...is it new?

I believe it's from late 2003. It's not as abstract as the other Otomo Yoshihide albums I've heard which is probably why I like it so much. At its core it is song oriented, always melodic even if the melodies are often subtle and atypical. But it's made up of only four songs and clocks in at about 48 minutes, so it's certainly not catchy or terribly immediate.

i really haven't heard a bad Laswell thing yet, but admittedly i haven't exactly examined his oeuvre thoroughly.

I liked his work with Tabla Beat Science the best of what I've heard.

I really like his remixes, Oscillation and Praxis. Purple Trap rules too. Herbie Hancock, Material, Fred Frith etc..
