It's about 3-4 km west of the Parliament. Bunch of government buildings in that area (Health Canada and Statistics Canada mostly.) Not far from the Civic Hospital.

There are some more, quite a bit of them around your age actually (15-20). Some are morons, some are cool (just like anything I guess - lol). Many however are more into hardcore than metal.

There are so few metal shows here that I rarely ever meet any. And many of the shows are 19+.
