Well, Canada. I've been following them for a while but since albums usually only surface online about a month before their released I figured I'd wait it out.

I've not heard Outworld yet, but seen some buzz about them on PPUSA boards. I take it I should be paying more attention to this band.

though (if I'm correct) you won't be hearing the same singer on the next release. Kelly did the EP and disc but is no longer with them.

They indeed have a new singer now, but he's just as good or even better than Kelly !!

carnut and Kitty have you heard of the other Houston band Meyvn yet? They are amazing! There are moments I like them even better than Outworld!

I can't wait to pick this album up. The singer isn't in the band any longer and they have a new one now, but it's hard to replace a unique voice no matter how good someone can sing.
Meyvn will probably also end up in my top 10 of this year , or just out of it, as production is a bit mediocre...Outworld though is much more of a mature metal band I think, they will end up far ahead...
I do understand your affection for Meyvn though, there's alot of Nevermore in it

Being friends with Rusty (my former teacher) and Bobby i guees i can say i like them but i dont think they are the caliber of say .... Spiral Architect or Fatez Warning.....
As far as Z Lot Z is concerned they are GREAT ... no 2 ways about it.
I guess i all Coolye'd out knowing him at all. Outworld kinda bores me.

Another Prggish band to check it is my Friends from corpus christi ...

You are right about the production. But I don't hear one iota of Nevermore in Meyvn.
mmm, strange , the vocals kinda sound alot like Nevermore style to me... well, must be 'cause I got a different set of ears

I have their album donwloaded and still have't check it properly. As for Z-Lot-Z I listened to them years ago and didn't catch me.
A band that I have to recommend even if they sing in Hungarian is Obstruction. I manage to get both their albums and I have been raving the last two weeks with them. Pure, great old school metal, pretty cool considering their albums are from 2000 and 2003 (they have also a 2005 EP, but I couldn't found it).
