New Jersey thrash metal veterans OVERKILL will headline the 2017 edition of the "Metal Alliance Tour". Support on the trek will come from New Orleans native doom/sludge band CROWBAR, Colorado thrash metal stalwarts HAVOK, technical thrash metal band BLACK FAST and INVIDIA, the group featuring former members of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and SKINLAB. The "Metal Alliance Tour" offers the fans upgrade VIP tickets that include meet-and-greet with bands, bottle of High River Sauces, poster and a VIP laminate. Tickets are available exclusively through ticket platform Soundrink. The "Metal Alliance Tour" will make the trek across the United States starting in early September. The disc was produced by OVERKILL and mixed by Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, EXODUS, ACCEPT). The artwork was created again by Travis Smith (NEVERMORE, OPETH, SOILWORK, DEATH). OVERKILL recently announced the addition of drummer Jason Bittner (SHADOWS FALL, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM) to the group's ranks. Even though Ron Lipnicki had been part of OVERKILL's lineup for more than a decade, the drummer was absent from the band's last few tours, with OVERKILL's longtime drum tech, Eddy Garcia, stepping in to take his place. CROWBAR's eleventh album, "The Serpent Only Lies", was released last October. The cover artwork was created by renowned artist Eliran Kantor, who has previously worked with bands like HATEBREED, SOULFLY and KATAKLYSM.
