anyone see this? thought it was pretty damn good. giant space monsters against giant mechs, lots of collateral damage; what else is there to say? does not disappoint.

Heh, I just asked a friend if we were going to see this. Guess I'll be seeing it on Tuesday. Him being a Godzilla freak of a fan, and me simply enjoying non-sucky movies and all.

So finally saw the movie tonight (was sick last week), and now I kind of regret not going to see The Conjuring instead. Pacific Rim was cool in a live action Voltron/Evangelion fights the Cloverfield monster way, but there wasn't much more to it than that. Plus, many of the you-know-it-should-be-awesome scenes were either too dark, or simply occluded with secondary crap.
