Panda Metal Massacre in SF

Come to my show tonight and watch me burn the bible, true.

When I saw Behemoth in December, Nergal tore pages out of a bible and threw them into the crowd while saying things like "fuck Jesus" and "fuck your savior - piss on this book!"

Lemme know what he does tonight!

In short:

1) No bible defamation by Behemoth (they were well behaved)

2) Dimmu blows ass, fucken cocknockers. I can't believe it, I'm so disappointed at those fuckers, 9-10 songs into the show and they'd played only 1 song from Puritanica and DCA combined. They played all new shit or old shit and neglected their two best records. I'm sure they closed w/ Progenies but fuck it, we left early. Seriously, they sounded like an average black metal band last night. I expect more from them I guess. Don't get me wrong, I had a good time but I enjoyed Behemoth much, much more than Dimmu.

Behemoth is one of the tightest bands I've ever seen live, and put on a great show. The only band I've liked better/played tighter live was Gojira, who opened for them. Being disappointed after seeing them wouldn't surprise me, so I can't blame you.

Behemoth is pretty solid live.

Dimmu is pretty shit live.

ive noticed this trend after seeing each band about 3 times before.

The end?

At least Meshuggah and Gigantour and God Forbid are on tour... check those three out.

I personally love In Sorte SO SO SO SO SO much more than Death Cult (Progenies really is the only song I'd put on equal level with most everything on In Sorte), so I'm sure I would've loved it...

And Behemoth are my idols.

I saw Dimmu/Behemoth/Keep of Kalessin in Toronto. Such a fucking intense show, especially on Behemoth's set. All the bands sounded like right on with the album works, which is hard to do in a live setting. It was some amazing shit

Behemoth and Dimmu are playing an hour from my hometown next Friday, and I was initially going to go. However, my hometown is about 3 hours from my college, and 4 hours of traveling doesn't seem worth it for the mediocre show i've witnessed Dimmu put on. Although I love both the bands, and Behemoth kicks tits live, i'll have to pass.
