Pandemonium - "Emotions..."

Pandemonium - "Emotions..." ( http://pandemonium.eyecom.nu ) Selfrelease, 1998.
Recently I've found this rare album (thanks to my friend Katahaz) of swedish death metal band Pandemonium. "Emotions..." is in fact their first demo, which they have recorder in Mojo studio in Lund, back in 1998. This demo was issued in 300 copies, so I didn't get a chance to listen to this band earlier - but on their web site ( http://pandemonium.eyecom.nu ) i've found that all songs from this demo are free for download. That would be some kind of intro. What you will find on this album is first-class melodic death metal mixed with doom metal. Doom influences can be found especially on first track, "Emotions From The Deep" (demo title is actually shorter version of this song's title), which sound like old Amorphis ("Tales From the Thousand Lakes" period). If I heard this song somewhere else I would thought that is some kind bonus track for Amorphis's album. Next song, "Sea of Mists" is kind of melodic death metal. Perfect song! You can hear mystical keyboards there, which sounds great and dark. Vocals are great - death growl from the deepest abyss. Bad production makes them sound too quiet, but anyway - this is their first demo. And first of all, this demo was originally recorded on audio tape and you know how bad audio tape sounds. The last song, "Caress of Sadness" is again death/doom metal kind of song with keyboards and great solo guitar parts. This song is over 8 minutes long. Only three songs and over 20 minutes of great music. For all true fans of underground!
