The theatrical rock band Panorama, featuring Oz Osukaru and Cecilia Camuii from the AOR outfit Osukaru, have unveiled the cover art for their upcoming CD "The Puppeteer" with release in January 2013. The release party will however take place this December 13th at Henriksberg, Gothenburg. For more info, check out the Facebook event: www.facebook.com/events/220508301410234/

Panorama was founded by singer Pontus Hansson and drummer Axel Ryberg and the music can be described as a mix between Broadway musicals, Queen, progressive rock and heavy metal. For a better glimpse, listen to the promotional version of the song "Holes In the Sky" which will be featured on the album in a remixed format:

This could be intriguing. I'm a big fan of Les Mis, Miss Saigon and Dennis de Young's Hunchback of Notre Dame musicals, so I'll have to check this out.

For the record, I've always thought SG's Tyranny and Room V disks could be turned into a great Broadway musical.

Well, growing up with old Genesis and getting into other theatrical prog bands, I don't have a problem with where they're going. I'd definitely check out more of it when it was available.
