Earlier this month, PAPA ROACH singer Jacoby Shaddix was interviewed by Terrie Carr of WDHA-FM 105.5 FM, the rock music station licensed to Dover and Morristown, New Jersey. You can now watch the chat below. Asked about the success of PAPA ROACH's latest album, 2017's "Crooked Teeth", Jacoby said: "It's been a really good run for us so far on this record. We definitely went in and evolved the sound of the band, kind of put ourselves back in our own lane again stylistically, and challenged our record company, as well as the fans, with some new sounds and new elements and textures. Still, the core of P-ROACH is there, but it's like something new and fresh. But then also kind of going back and bringing some rap back into the music from past records. And it just feels like all things great PAPA ROACH melded into one record that sounds fresh and current. So we're having a good run with it. We've had two No. 1s. Thank you, guys, for banging P-ROACH; it feels good. And now we're out on this headliner [tour with NOTHING MORE and ESCAPE THE FATE] and we're having a lot of sellouts. Like, so far out of the first four shows, three of them have been sold out. So that's awesome." "Crooked Teeth" was released in May 2017 via Eleven Seven Music. The disc was written and recorded in a cramped North Hollywood studio with producers Nicholas "RAS" Furlong and Colin Brittain, with the exception of "Born For Greatness", which saw the band collaborate with writer/producer Jason Evigan (Jason Derulo, Demi Lovato, Zedd, MAROON 5). Over the last 17 months, PAPA ROACH has taken the "Crooked Teeth" experience global — touring extensively throughout Europe, Australia, North America and South America. The band recently wrapped up a successful run with A DAY TO REMEMBER on the "15 Years In The Making Tour" where they played to 100,000 fans over the course of 18 shows.
