One of my favorite album covers ever was their's for ...And Then You'll Beg. Couldn't find one with the train included.

MOST OBVIOUS CHOICE EVER, considering Blasphemy Made Flesh is perhaps THE best death metal release of all time. None So Vile is KILLER too, but BMF simply destroys everything. This was Erik's reaction after listening to "Serial Messiah" (included on the 2CD DM-comp I sent him):

That pretty much sums it all up. OK, so I lied about the Erik comments, but I suspect he enjoyed the song.

DiSalvo completely ruined (well, almost) Whisper Supremacy and And Then You'll Beg, methinks. The über-technicality didn't tickle my fancy either.

Edit: I demand a verdict of some sort after you've listened to the compo a bit more. I will do the very same thing after I've overdosed on the "Maiden and heavy metal" comp that I eventually shall receive.

I prefer the DiSalvo stuff. I've seen them live twice. Once with DiSalvo, who puts on a killer performance, awesome stage presence. And once with the guy that was on the live album.

Never with Lord Worm though. When they come thru this time, I will be there.

I missed them when they were with Lord Worm, but I heard it was an intense concert. I don't really listen to Death Metal anymore, but Cryptopsy are one of the freshest out there. I also love Martyr which are from the same area.

I went with None so Vile just barely over BMF. Those two albums are so.fucking.good. The screams that Lord Worm puts out on those two are so vile and gut wrenchingly awesome.

I don't understand what problem people seem to have with DiSalvo. Bald head? The dude's vocals are fucking brutal.

I just didnt think DiSalvo had that Vile and insane brutal scream that Worm had. I dont think DiSalvo is bad, just pale in comparison to The Lord.

Finally listened to a few tracks from NSV. Erik is correct.

Listen to Blasphemy Made Flesh and Tell me you dont hear Unholy Thrashing Death Terror. I can understand people thinking there last two are substandard death metal but I just cant fathom that with the first two in the least.
