British gothic metal pioneers PARADISE LOST will enter Orgone Studios in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom at the end of the month with producer Jaime Gomez Arellano to begin recording their new album. An early 2020 release is expected. PARADISE LOST previously worked with Arellano on "The Plague Within" (2015) and "Medusa" (2017) albums. This past August, guitarist Aaron Aedy confirmed to Impact metal channel that vocalist Nick Holmes and guitarist Greg Mackintosh were working on new material. "I haven't heard anything yet, so I can't give anything away," he said at the time. "Knowing them two, it will be a bit miserable and very PARADISE LOST." "Medusa" was released in September 2017 via Nuclear Blast. The artwork was created by Branca Studio and shows the infamous Gorgone Medusa from Greek mythology, carrying venomous snakes as hair and turning anyone into stone who would dare to look into her eyes. Decibel Books recently announced the publication of "No Celebration: The Official Story Of Paradise Lost". Due in November, this brand new hardcover chronicles the British doom metal progenitors' groundbreaking three decades-plus career with in-depth interviews, first-hand accounts and never-before-seen photos. Author David E. Gehlke ("Damn The Machine: The Story Of Noise Records") takes readers into the depths of one of metal's most enduring and rewarding bands. Including a foreword from BOLT THROWER/MEMORIAM frontman Karl Willetts, this hardcover edition is over 300 pages and strictly limited to 1,000 copies worldwide. Pre-orders are available now.
