I'm glad to see they put the making of video and (another) new haven show in the special edition. I'm sure, if you look, you'll see me and all my friends in the audience. HA HA

But, fantastic news. Maybe we can get a new CD out of this lineup too.

Fates Warning is in my top 3 bands of all time ever!

Not sure if they are your cup of tea but they are an amazing band.

They're pretty good.

I haven't listened to them since high school, I forgot which albums I liked. I was actually thinking about them earlier when I was fixing my itunes. I wish I remembered.

That rocks! I am huge fan and have been since album one. Fates have always amazed. looking forward to this remaster. John Arch will always be my favorite singer of all time, Awaken the Guardian is supreme. Ray is excellent in his own right.

Great news. Hope they do more US dates and maybe a new album as well, because this was, in my opinion, one of Fates' best lineups.

just as a side note, this new While Heaven Wept album has a song that is really awesome Awaken the Guardian era worship, and it really got me hooked because that's one of my favorite metal albums ever.


these guys did a good job at replicating that atmosphere imo, have a listen.

i never really got into these guys, apparently my friends guitar teacher Shaun Michaud played keys for them in like early 2000 though.

I saw them on the tour. he played keys and guitar/

Shaun is great, his band Event put out one of the most interesting and actually progressive and innovative prog metal albums of that late 90s early 2000s era. "Human Condition"

I saw them open up for Symphony X at that time as well and they were great, but of course the gay fan boys were yelling at them to get off the stage and stop playing techno.

Shaun's playing is very unique, he sounds like Vai with more taste and composure.

NICE! I expected to hear him sing " Heeeeaaaar our criiiiiiies from down belooooooooow, you gotta let your spirits goooooo" after those verses. That is sooooo Damnation.
