First off, no disrespect to those without power in the world. I'm just trying to find some humour in the "BLACKOUT OF 2003". I might be showing my age, but in the words of the infamous SCORPIONS song:

"I REALLY HAD A BLACKOUT"

i dunno y, but i was laughing while watching all the ppl cramming into the ferry that goes from Manhattan Island over to New Jersey...there was shitloads off ppl... luckily im just a little too far south in NJ to get caught by the blackout...

.....unless they had a discman! ha ha, like me. all i did was listen to some Peter Gabriel(his album Passion) in the calmness of it all and read magazines. it could have been less boring, but i made the most of it i guess.

Yeah, I live in Toronto, so I experienced the BLACKOUT. It wasn't THAT bad, 'cause I was at work when it happened. We all just sat around in Petsmart (where I work) and did nothing. The specialty manager was freaking 'cause we have over 100 fish tanks... and with no power.. the fish have no OXYGEN! I went back this morning though and the power was still out... but most of the fish were ok. Anyway, I heard the rest of Toronto was just ridiculous and small stores were selling batteries for like $6 a piece. Fuckers... anyway, that's that. My power is restored, yay.

i heard in the T-Dizzle(ha ha ha) since ppl were going crazy to get gasoline....for some reason...and a minimal # of gas stations were working, some stations had gas for 99.9 cents and PPL WERE PAYING IT! IDIOTS! It wasn't y2k or a war or something! ppl are fools.
