He sounds like the same guy from The Serpent's Kiss. Is he your pastor Matt? I like those sections in the songs, I think they work really effectively.

Actually the message in the Master Storyteller is from Matt's best friend, Chuck Garner.
Chuck is an associate pastor at Journey Church in South Carolina (http://www.journeychurchsc.org/index.cfm?sp=staff_bio&s=6)
Journey MP3's here (http://www.journeyinfo.org/#f28/feed). However the Master Storyteller message is from before he was at Journey. Chuck sent me the mp3 once, but my old computer crashed before I could back it up, so I just emailed him again for it.

I thought you might like to check out another message Chuck did a few years ago - this one called "Choose the Unexpected!"

(The audio cuts out till about 2 minutes into it or so.)

I always thought this one was so cool - and he goes into Mirror of Souls at the end :headbang: \m/

I'm waiting to hear back w/the Master Storyteller, so in the meantime feel free to Choose the Unexpected!

(I love Choose the Unexpected whenever I'm sending unexpected mail or something to anyone - I can say, well Jesus did say to choose the Unexpected! :) )

Yes, that's the same guy... Chuck said about the storyline that really "that's 98% Matt's genius" ... although I think Chuck added a little more to the story than 2% ;)

Pfft, the entire "building/crossing the bridge" section was his idea. So yeah...much more than 2%. :) I had the beginning and ending, but couldn't figure out how to tie it all together, and he came up with the (wait for it) perfect bridge to connect it.

I thought that part of the Master Storyteller was cool too. And now that someone mentions it, it does sound like the guy from the Serpents Kiss. Thanks for posting that, HeavenKnows.

Mirror of Souls is my all-time favorite song, so I guess I owe this guy my thanks - for whatever percentage it was. :)
