Joe Perry has told Billboard.com that even though Steven Tyler made a guest appearance at his solo show on Tuesday, it really didnt change anything in my mind about the status of Aerosmith. While Steven promised the crowd hes not leaving the band, Perry never said he was. Joe is more concerned that Tyler wants to take two years off. The guitarist said, Aerosmith wants to work, and they would look for a replacement singer so they can. Who could that be? Well at last weeks Classic Rock Roll of Honor awards show in England, Joe was seen chatting at length with Bad Companys Paul Rodgers, a man Perry once described as his favorite singer. Paul recently toured with Queen and could fit the bill for Aerosmith. Well keep you up to date on the latest developments.
