Just got my copy of Paul Stanley's One Live KISS DVD in the mail today. I've barely finished half of the disc, and I'm already amazed by the performance level of Paul and the Rock Star House Band. They all did a great job playing some classic KISS songs as well as tracks from Paul's two solo albums. It's amazing that Paul's voice shows absolutely no sign of aging throughout the concert. Also, the cinematography is very consistent, focusing on the band and the show and not too much on random crowd shots that have marred many other concert videos as of late.
Probably the only downside of this DVD is the lack of extras. Plus, you have to make sure to set the proper audio channel, as the disc is set to DTS 5.1 by default. Nevertheless, whether or not you listen to KISS, you should rent or buy this DVD.
