Earlier this year, bassist Jeff Ament and guitarist Stone Gossard confirmed to Rolling Stone that PEARL JAM was "in the middle" of the songwriting sessions for the band's long-awaited follow-up to 2013's "Lightning Bolt" album. In March 2017, PEARL JAM released a new song called "Can't Deny Me". The just-over-two-and-a-half-minute track was co-produced by the band and Brendan O'Brien. The music for the song was written by guitarist Mike McCready and lyrics by singer Eddie Vedder. Artwork for the single was created by Ament and videographer Kevin Shuss. The song appears to take direct aim at President Donald Trump — albeit without mentioning his name. Photo credit: Danny Clinch
