pedal to boost my amp?

Hi,
I've got a problem, I don't know which pedal to boost my amp with :/
I have an orange TH30
it's out of:
-maxon od808
-mxr gt-od

which one would you go for?
and do any of you have this amp and boost it with any thing? if so what do you boost it with and how does it react with the amp?

I'm asking about the amp as well because, apparently oranges don't take OD pedals well :/

I would presume it is similar to the od808?

Bring your amp down to your local shop and try them out. The reason why people like the Tube Screamer (and clones) is it boosts the mids a bit, and you end up with more pick attack. Other ODs may not have this feature, and will react differently with your amp.

the ts7 and od 808 have similar qualities, but the outcome is slightly different, the ts7 will give youa grittier more agressive boost, where as the od 808 will be smoother in gain

is the maxon also darker?

Tried em all, now just own 2. The Maxon 808 reissue and the Ibanez 808 Tube Screamer. From Devin to Loomis, I dont think you can go wrong.

I've got one actually but, I am looking for a replacement.. I think I will get an od808
one thing i need to know tho is:
does the od808 add lower mids or upper mids?
