The self titled album has been out for a couple of months now, I think.
It's really good.
I was a wee bit wary after Fantomas, but this is actually an album of songs!!! I couldn't beleive my ears!!!!
They're all done with a collaborator in one capacity or another, Dan the Automator, Massive Attack, Nora Jones etc.
And I must say I am very impressed!!!
They are supporting Gnarles Barkley(?) on their UK tour next month!
yeah I was gonna say that - they were not well accepted in Philly. From what I hear the band was flipping off the crowd and stuff - but I don't know if that's true. Us Phily kids tend to make shit up about people we don't like, hahaha.
I think this project is pretty cool, but, like everyone else, I miss FNM
I don't miss FNM. They left on a high note and with their credibility still intact. Few bands do that anymore . It would have been nice to have seen them live at least once though.
Patton did an interview on Sirius last night. They played FNM, Bungle, Tomahawk and Peeping Tom (I didn't hear any Fantomas).
Plus I got to add Mr. Bungle and Tomahawk to my favorite artists on my Sirius receiver.
the peeping tom album is awesome, defo the most accessable patton record in ages, but i am pretty keen on all pattons stuff....(tho with the fantomas i only like the directors cut album, the other two are nutso ...but yeah its good to hear him doing different stuff....don't even trip is my fave track off the record.... but they all good....
live, peeping tom are superb........rahzel is fucking mind blowing.....
Yeah, cool hey. I saw them a couple of months ago. They played at "Le National" It's a cabaret in the middle of the Gay Village here in Montreal.
Mike was blasting off a couple of gay jokes....
In total Patton style.
