Even if his excuse isn't legit, why in the hell are police on two continents arresting famous people for having "child" porn. How 'bout arresting guys who sell drugs to kids and dead beat dads. I think it is friggin' insane.

His excuse for looking in the first place is a bit lame. I could write a book on the evils of child pornography without having to subscribe to a site and look for hours on end.....
...I agree with TD that more should be done to stop people distributing drugs in and around schools, however for each picture looked at on these sites it means another kid has been abused. While people are still prepared to pay for these images and others can make money out of it,it will continue. By making examples of famous people it sends out a clear warning to everyone, that no matter who you are you will eventually be caught.......

it's illegal to have child porn even if you are turning it over to the police.
if they are going to crack down on one thing they need to crack down on more. Just because some politician has a problem with porn and this is the only way he can make a change. Rumsfeld can't even deal with the Statue of Justice. They turned down his first proposal. So all he cares about is feeling uncomfortable when someone exposes thier breast. There's deffinately more to protecting children.

I read an article that he was being investigated and then heard last night that he was arrested.
I don't think I buy his excuse either. I don't know why anyone wants to see that shit anyway, but if you didn't like it, why would you pay for subscriptions and spend hours on it? It's just sick.
To say he was turning it over to police anyway, well, if they wanted his help, they'd ask for it, don't you think? And if you were sexually abused but couldn't remember it, wouldn't you like it better that way? Maybe it's just me...but I doubt it.

I love the Who but research??? Come the fuck on. I really get sick of people using the "I was abused as a child" excuse too. Depending what the police find (meaning not just a pic of a 17-year-old crack whore who looks like she could be 30) I say they should lock the sick fuck up with Bo Bo and let him get his research on sexual abuse 1st hand.

@Jono, in the article I read yesterday, that's exactly what he said. He said he told the police he was doing it before he did it and that he turned over everything that he found. They couldn't find a police official to confirm it though.
