Before the name was even coined, legendary D.C. outfit Pentagram was helping to invent the beast called heavy metal. For over thirty years the band has remained true to its macabre art. This unwavering dedication has influenced scores of renowned musicians some three decades on, and the legacy grows stronger every year. First Daze Here Too is a 2-disc set containing rare and unreleased studio recordings and live rehearsals from the early 70's. A deluxe 28-page booklet includes lyrics, detailed historical liner notes by drummer Geof O'Keefe and never-before-seen photography! First Daze Here Too is 22 tracks of vintage Pentagram classics from the vaults of the influential and critically-acclaimed D.C. legends!!!

Pre-order the CD or the fuckin' LP! here!

Anyone who likes Black Sabbath or anything doom-related and hasn't heard this band needs to remedy that problem right fucking now!

Yes, especially people who have been into stuff by Burning Saviours and Witchcraft

I really hope someone else replies to this. And yeah, Witchcraft or Burning Saviours but a lot better. Pretty much the reason both those bands exist.

I ordered the brown one..hopefully there'll be some left. I don't get why it seems there's only an option for 180gram vinyl in black. seems like a coloured heavy LP would be the ultimate collector's item.

Hey, as an aside: do you know what was on the 7'' that came with the LP of the original "First Daze Here"?

180gram black vinyl sounds better than brown vinyl btw

some people do buy vinyls for listening, and not just collecting :tickled:

edit: oh i get the question: price reasons, I'm sure.

Yeah, I guess technically I should be going for sound quality over colour, but 180gram vinyls piss me off for some reason. And I'm no audiophile, with the sound system we have the differences probably aren't exceptionally noticable.

yeah, just stay away from picture discs and you'll be fine (if getting for listening purposes, not as a collector's item)

what's your gripe with pic discs? I only have one, Witchcraft's s/t, because I couldn't find the regular LP and I think nowhere I knew had the Cd in stock. Now they all seem to have it again. Fuckin dorks.

the sound. I love to collect them, but even on lower end equipment you can hear a difference in sound quality. Of course if it's a limited thing, and only comes as a pic disc, I'm not complaining.
