PERIPHERY and ANIMALS AS LEADERS will team up for a North American trek, dubbed "The Convergence Tour", this fall. "This tour is a long time coming," said ANIMALS AS LEADERS guitar player Tosin Abasi. "Beyond being some of our favorite musicians, the guys in PERIPHERY are some of our favorite people! Our careers share common roots and at times, common members. We can't wait to bring this show to you all." Tickets for all shows are available this Friday, July 28 at 10 a.m. local time. ANIMALS AS LEADERS released their fourth album, "The Madness Of Many", last fall via Sumerian Records. Pitchfork dubbed the ten-track album "a dense and triumphant brand of instrumental metal," while Alternative Press noted that the three-piece "continue to cut through genre restrictions." PERIPHERY, who also released their most recent album, "Periphery III: Select Difficulty", via Sumerian, discussed the album with Guitar World, saying they "returned to their mantra," which made recording far easier and faster, and led guitar player Misha Mansoor to dub it his "personal favorite."
