As long as they don't make 'Spheres II', Testimony was a much much better album.

Spheres was way to synthesized, there was hardly any real guitars on the album, mainly on guitar and bass synth.

I think the ideas in Spheres were good but the songwriting was indeed much better on Testimony... I'm really curious to hear a bootleg from the Spheres tour since they apparently combined the better songwriting with the new avant-garde ideas.

I heard they screwed up the songs though...

That was old news? Well that sucks...I should've guessed, the project is called Pestilence2000 and it's almost 2002.

I had Patrick on the phone just a few months ago, and Pestilence 2002 does not even seem to be happening.
He's having a lot of troubles finding people who want to join him and can match his standards...
Whenever he manages to pull something off it's definitely going to be different.

I remember hearing that while Death were in Europe for the Human tour, something happened and Pestilence were asked not to play, and they in turn, followed Chuck's bus around harrassing him. Did they make up? Sorry I didn't have a chance to read the interview.
