Peter leaves The Haunted

The band have confirmed that Peter has left. Whilst I think that Made Me Do It is their finest work, Peter did have a unique vibe to his voice that made their later stuff cool. Don't really dig the last album so if they do continue with another singer, maybe it'll be faster and heavier!

Meh, so put off by this. I don't think The Haunted can compare without Dolving but maybe that's just because I'm a fanboy. While I think that self titled, rEVOLVEr and The Dead Eye were The Haunted's best works, I liked Versus and Unseen also. Peter brought a very musical dynamic and presence to The Haunted, which I feel is missing from most metal bands. Dolving made The Haunted my favorite live band of all time and I AM FUCKING BUMMED!

The Haunted is one of the best live bands I've seen, largely because of Peter. Unseen is a masterpiece, I really don't get why so many people hate it. One Kill Wonder and Made Me Do It are really good thrash albums, but the stuff with Dolving is on another level imo... This sucks.

Having said that, the remaining members of the band are what made it amazing, and hopefully they'll manage to find another unique vocalist who can push them on in a different direction.

I'm sure they will continue to suck. Band used to be so great. Need to break-up at this point so the Bjorler's can just do ATG reunion shows all the time.

well mr dolving brought them to a higher level, with Marco would have been the same stuff over and over again maybe... who knows.
I'm a huge the haunted fan and I liked even the softer stuff with peter, they showed the world they can write great music without being generic.
