It sounds like In Flames. I think they are trying to make new 13 year old fanbase (after all, not many kids knew about Kreator imo). I imagine this will get good reviews in mainstream metal magazines too and BAM. Kids will love it.

I didnt really like it either. Got bored with it everytime i gave it a spin. But then again what did we expect from a band that hasn't released a solid album in over 20 years?

I tried to listen to it. I got through a couple songs and turned it off. Im not a huge thrash anyway but it didnt click with me at all and the vocals were bad.

I loved Enemy of God, but Hordes was shit and this is even shittier.

Of course he's getting older. He's like 40-45 years old. He doesn't have the same energy when he was 20.

I've yet to give it a thorough spin, but the couple of tracks I heard I didn't think were terrible.

I'm more stoked about the new Testament, tbh.

A generic and weak effort that will appeal to people who will like anything as long as it is fast paced and has catchy melodies and solos. It lacks any of the aggressive energy that I liked Kreator for and seems to be replaced by cheesy melodies and chugging riffs. The last album I heard of theirs was Enemy of God which was pretty solid, but this new one, it's just boring.

Enemy of God I think is the favourite Kreator album for alot of fans, Phantom antichrist though, I found the actual song phantom antichrist to be mind blowing in my opinion but then when I started to listen to the other songs in the album, they didn't have the same effect.
