Kreator

I wanted to ask you about those kind of concerts. I am 16 years old and just got into metal two years ago. I went to my first two concerts this summer which were David Lee Roth/Sammy Hagar and King's X/Joe Satriani/Dream Theater. As you can see I have never been to a thrash type concert yet or in a club atmosphere environemnt concert. I am the type of person who wants to go to a show such as Destruction/Kreator and have a good time, rock out, bang my head etc. However I am not crazy about all the stage diving/mosh pit stuff. Is it easily avoidable at shows like the one you went to if you are not too close to the stage?

Also I am going to my first club type concert coming up in November. I am going to see Symphony X along with Blind Guardian who will be on they're first North American tour. I was wandering if you are into power metal like Blind Guardian and have ever been to any shows like that?

If you hang out near the back you can easily avoid moshing and stagediving. As far as that kind of stuff at power metal shows in clubs I didn't see any at Manowar and Iced Earth early in the summer, mostly headbanging and fists in the air. You should have a good time at Blind Guardian.
