Former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum married his longtime girlfriend Adriane "Ace" Harper on Saturday, October 12 in Palm Springs, California. Glenn Hughes (BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION, DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) performed a song with a string quartet at the event, which was attended by Steven Tyler (AEROSMITH), Juliette Lewis, John Varvatos, Jane Lynch, John Stamos, Dave Navarro (JANE'S ADDICTION) and Sorum's former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan.Sorum was born Matthew William Sorum (Norwegian spelling Srum), on November 19, 1960, in the present-day city of Mission Viejo, California.
