EMG 81 Hardwire – Functions perfectly, a well loved EMG, has plenty of grooves from long use, and the logo's coloring is entirely worn off. I can include some wiring with this (at the very least a tone and volume pot) Over 6 inches of lead. - $37

EMG 81 Hardwire (very short leads) – Functions perfectly, will need extensions for the leads (both are just over an inch) for any kind of installation, tabs have been modified to accept a larger screw (included, as well as the pickup ring), but it is well done and adjustment still works flawlessly. Other than that in aesthetically good shape. I can include some wiring with this (at the very least a tone and volume pot) - $32

I have references on here, harmony central, and rig talk as well. But I believe the above should be sufficient. :D

Here's the very last image (back of the short leads 81) that couldn't fit in the post limit.

Hey man I'm definitely keen on the 81 and 89.

How much would shipping be to NZ? Do you mind shipping here?

Cheers man!

I'm actually really interested in the purple super 3 for my Strat. I'll send you a PM, I hope it is still available. But purple...argh.

Damn, forgot I even posted this thread here. Sorry man, but they are already sold.

Haha, yeah purple is a tough sell. Super 3 is already quite a niche pickup, and most of the few people that are interested in it don't really want purple. Love how the Super 3 sounds though, very underrated pickup. KN's tone on Riders is one of my favorite rhythm tones ever and thats a Super 3.

PM responded too, BTW.

A friend of mine has it in his Custom Shop BC Rich Beast. The full size monstrosity. It sounded awesome in that massive chunk of serrated mahogany through even the shittiest of solid state amps.

I got this Fender Deluxe USA ash thing recently and it is absolutely awful for high gain of any kind with the stock Fender "Hot Rod" pickup, just flubby bass and grating highs so I figured the Super 3 could be the right candidate to make me keep the guitar, otherwise it's getting sold. Shame it really is pretty though.

And yeah that tone there is pretty unique.

You have a reply ;)
