ps, these pics are from the albany waterfront which is on the bay. there was a bit of fog around SF so you can't quite see the city or the kite festival going on at the Berkeley Marina.

on a clear day, you'd see it all across the bay here:

unforunately it didn't come out well, but the golden gate is back there somewhere.

and when I actually get a digital camera, I'll take more pictures of the 'public' art from down there. there's some pretty neat stuff going on utilizing found objects from the landfill. for instance, that big gate up above is all styrofoam that washed ashore.
