Its no secret that yours truly has a soft spot for German bands. This goes way back to Hannover hard rocking Scorpions introducing a certain adolescent to, well, hard rock music. For some people, prejudice prevails; ze Djerman aksent, ze happy metal, you name it. And now there is The First Perception from PIGEON TOE. Ze debut of ze year, perhaps? At least its a fine example of modern progressive music. Groovy. Melodic. Original. And packed with seemingly simple songs. But with so much delicious hidden details. Were glad we've uncovered another progressive treasure.
