I just had to say here , that the shittiest movie I've ever taken the time to watch is Transmorphers. No not Transformers, this is a shitty knockoff done around the same time. Worst thing I've ever seen by far , the budget was like 40 bucks. *
*Just looked it up , amazingly this movie cost 300 thousand to make. I have no idea where this money went , maybe to Hasbro in a copyright lawsuit haha

I dunno it's not like they're great movies - they are very obviously tongue in cheek IMO. I love the ILM effects (Davy Jones et al) and the action scenes / fights

Third one was not great, but anyway I love the saga.
I'd like to add that Klaus badelt, Hans Zimmer and all Remote Control team did the best OST's ever . Highly recommended because of the talent and also because of the the awesome production of those sound tracks.

The plot and jokes could be better, but the universe they´ve created is pure win. I enjoy a lot the characaters they´ve built like Davy Jones, Barbosa (and his kickass zombie monkey), Jack Sparrow, the 2 dumb pirates (one with the glass eye), the Flying Dutchman crew, the Kraken...
