I was wondering if anyone could tell me the answers to one or all of the following questions:

What year did Poison break up?

Where did Bobby Dall scurry off to?

Where was B.D. from? Not where was he born--a Google search can turn that up. But where did he grow up?

Any additional information about him would be welcome too (just stupid stuff, you know). Yes, I'm an obsessive fan with too much time on my hands. Sue me.

What year did Poison break up?-They haven't in fact they are a hiatus at the moment, they have been touring for a number of years even if they don't have a new record! There will a box sey followed by a farewell tour in 2006! Watch for it!

Also probably a group that would be embarassing to any former members who went on to a life in academia circa 1996? Guitarist has a tattoo of a cartoon character?

Are you asking this about two bands or is it one band you are talking about. The porn movie thing makes me think of Biohazzard! They are from New York and the singer is married to a porn star.

Btw I get the impression you are try to find answers to a quiz without telling us .

I'm looking for the name of one band, with all the characteristics I mentioned before, because I have a professor, and from what little I can glean, he was in an 80s metal band that he said I would know if I knew anything about the genre. But he refuses to tell me which band because he has an "image" to maintain now. As if I would leak it. God. Anyway, he used a stage name (of course) so I can't go on that.

Any other guesses? Or at least places that I could start?

Well, like I said, he used a stage name. Believe me, I've googled his real name and come up with nothing except (coincidentally) a different band called "Asere." This definitely isn't his, though. I've looked at the pictures.

I'm fairly certain that he's being honest. I am "in league" with one of his colleagues, and he can't get much info out of him either. If this is a joke, it's pretty damned elaborate, and I think he has better things to do.
