I saw Back to the Future on TV soon after 9/11. If you hadn't seen it before, you would have no fucking clue what happened to Doc. It shows him talking outside the DeLorean, and then it basically shows his leg sticking out from behind the truck, on the ground, withoutany explanation, and then Marty takes off.
