Poor Aydan (Elvenking)

Of course, being on the ski patrol, and having dealt with a few shoulder injuries on the slopes myself, I know the pain he must be going through. I'll never forget the one guy we took down with a shoulder injury, and he was screaming bloody murder with the pain! Ended up needing to get the ambulance for him.

In the case of Aydan, he must've landed HARD to require that much work on his shoulder. Sounded like a total yardsale there, though. Can only hope he heals up and continue to play in his band. Met the guy myself at the show, and thought he was really cool. Kinda curious where he was skiing at.

He was online today, so he must be doing at least a little better. I wasn't able to catch him though, had to get some work done. Maybe in the next few days I can finaggle an update out of him.

Avid skier here too. My son broke his shoulder sking (and doing exactly what his mom told him NOT to, ) and he was in agony. It was a long ride into town in the back of the ski patrol SUV. Okemo apparently doesn't bother with ambulances. Anyway, luckily (or not) they decided to do NOTHING for him but put it in a sling and give him meds. I guess at 11-years-old and the type of break he had, it was better to heal on its own.

Lots of luck to Aydan! While I can't actually feel his pain, I sure have witnessed it. Now off to pack for the last ski trip of the season. Soggy moguls, here we come!
