Pop mix, need input!

I know this is a metal forum, but I recorded this is pop song for a friend. I'm somewhat happy with the mix, just want some outside feedback. Thanks!

drums sound weird.. kick especially.. from a pop song i expect big roomy drums.. if u get the drums bigger, and bring the bass more to the front, it'll sound good.. man i wish i could record some stuff like this.. what's the band? i dig it.

Edit: Any chance of getting some raw tracks for mixing practice?

Yeah get rid of all the high end in that kick or better still use a completely different sample. Add some reverb or more room to the snare and put it further back in the mix. Band sounds great.

I like it. I'd probably EQ the kick a bit like the other guys said. For this genre... I'd most likely autotune those vocals a bit. Not like T-Pain... more like every radio artist.

I definitely agree with the kick. I'll choose a different one for more thump and less click, and play around with the verb. Thanks for the input guys!

I'll have to see about getting the raw tracks for you.
