Power Metal cover

Just did a power metal cover of the Swedish pop hit 'Listen to your Heart'. The guitars and bass were done at home and the drums are programmed. The vocals and mixing were done at the local studio. Mainly looking for advice on improving guitar tone which was done DI with a Rocktron Prophesy but any advice is welcome.

Nah, but pretty decent cover.. very muddy mix though.

what inparticular is muddy about the mix?
