Frontiers press release

POWER QUEST "NeverWorld"

Label: Frontiers Records Release date: March 15th 2004
Cat. #: FR CD 180 Barcode: 8024391018026

Music Style: Power Metal

"NeverWorld", the follow up to "Wings of Forever", was recorded at
Thin Ice between June 10th and July 18th 2003, with production handled by
Karl Groom. The recordings were then taken up to Mastertone studios
in Runcorn where the mixing was done by Pete Coleman (AC/DC/ Paradise
Lost/Gary Hughes etc) .
The results are superb to say the least. Power Quest bring a whole
new dimension to the Power Metal Genre. Along with the traditional
galloping rhythms, soaring vocals and triumphant choruses of tracks
like "NeverWorld (Power Quest Part II)", "Sacred Land", "Well Of
Souls" and the stunning "Temple Of Fire" the band adds huge balladry
("When I`m Gone") and incredible melodic rock tracks such as "Edge Of
Time" and "For Evermore", where elements of TNT and Royal Hunt meet
up to deliver huge anthemic slabs of rock.

Have a copy of the jap release. The sound has been refined a lot but its missing the raw super fantastic cheese of the first album. Worth a buy tho.

Was unsure about the lass from edenbridge singing on the album but it's a nice addition. She was probably happy to do a stint with a decent power metal band.
