Astral Doors was cancelled, so now the main reason to go is gone. Besides Iced Earth will headline with Barlow and not Owens.

yea, this lineup doesnt really appeal to me at all. barlow back with iced earth is cool, but not worth the trip. i dont really like any rest of the bands there. except elvenkings first demo which destroys their releases.

Personally, the bill this year holds nothing for me. The only bands of moderate interest are IE, JOP and Rob Rock.

Rocklahoma and Bang Your Head 08 hold much more interest to me.

I have no reason to like these guys based on my own interests, but I can't get enough of their 2 cds. Can't wait to see them live.

I like about half the lineup, so I'll be there if I'm still breathing....

Last year's Rocklahoma bill was incredible (Steelheart, Skids, Ryche, Dokken, Warrant, White Lion, Ratt, etc. etc.). There wasn't a better bill (IMO) in terms of metal festivals. This year HOTD are doing a reunion show. I'm considering making it this year depending on who else they add to the bill.

This year is David's 40th bday so I think I will not be attending...that and the lineup for me is not the greatest (as far as my familiarity with the bands) I only know 2 and am not really familiar with their stuff, I've heard it but not extensively. Makes me want to save more for PP X.

The deposits for the townhouses will be transfered to someone else so those UMOS PP crew members will not lose their crash pads.

long story short.

my gf's daughter's father was convicted of child molesting... no it wasn't his kid but he was sentenced 8 years, got four in the big house and now he has the opportunity to have visitation with his daughter. he has not been around her for 9 years. Nothing, no calls, no cards, no letters, no nothing. The guy is a piece of shit and the laws in this fucked up country suck the dick so bad that I want to vomit. All the while, the kid has no rights to be safe. I have been her father figure for the last five years. I have not one right either because I haven't adopted her. We figured the dad was never gonna come around. well we figured wrong and now we stand the chance of going to jail for keeping her from him. Like I am gonna send my kid to the fucking wolves. It is fucked up and we are trying everything that we can to work this out... We are trying to get supervised visitations but the guy just threatens and provokes us... say a prayer to the metal gods for us because this will get worse before it gets better.uke:

I personally think you are doing the "right" thing, but unfortunately, the laws in this country sometimes favor the criminal more than the victim....Good luck!!
