Pre-Production Drum Tracking Video - (Prog/Metal)

Hey Everybody, Here is a drum track I did for one of the Pre-Production Demos for the new Shardborne album.


We are busy working away on doing tempo maps/ click tracks for the new album and this is one of the demos for drum ideas I tracked.
Will still end up making some changes to the final part, but this is heading along in the right direction I think.

How big is your room? the overhead image is very clean!

Dude, really nice drum sound! I suppose its raw (?). As RedDog said, really nice and clean overheads! Cool stuff dude!

Hey, Room is pretty small, its mainly a mixing room, but sometimes I set the kit up in it for recordings if its only for me. I didnt really do much preparation with regards to the mic positions prior to tracking the song because it's only a pre-production track, and will be re-recorded for the album. There's a high pass on the overheads, and the capsules were about 3 feet away from the snare. OH Mics were Rode NT1 and Studio Projects B1.
