Why do they keep doing this? Throwing the franchise in the garbage with the sequels isn´t enough? They need to make sure that the only one that was good also sucks?

And they´re also remaking Conan. What´s next? Remake Junior?

the new Conan is gonna be AWESOME!

Jason Momoa is fucking HUGE, totally looks the part and is gonna be a complete badass

besides, its not a remake ... it has almost nothing to do with the original movie, just as the original movie had very little to do with anything ever written by Robert E. Howard

I love the franchise, but...first, adrien brody? wtf? when I first heard about "predator dogs" and "predator falcons" I got scared

Since this country gets all movies 3 months later...we don't get any hype from any movie lol

Dont bother worrying about pred dogs and falcons... and Brody does a solid job. not sure what all the hate is about the movie. It wasnt bad. Wasnt amazing, but def wasnt bad. I dig the casting of Brody when I read about it.... something along the lines of: "most military men... even the spec forces guys, arent these huge hulks Arnold was"... which is true... so in that regard, Brody's actually pretty good. He bulked up 25 lbs too, guys... he's not the tiny fuck he always was, but of course he's still not huge.

I liked it... i know i have a high tolerance for shit movies... but this was great i thought... some cliches... some moments of "totally took that from the first movie"

and as weird as it sounds, i loved the credits at the end... like the theme behind em...

Here's what ya do. Those who say it sucks, go and check what ratings they give movies in the "Rate the latest movie you've seen" thread". If they seem to rate movies you think that suck highly, then take their opinion with a grain of salt Actually, I usually disregard most peoples opinion's on movies anyway since their idea of a good movie could be total shit to you.
That said, I'm thinking of seeing "Predators". If anything to hear some actually good film music by John Debney.

Very basic movie. Hell, even Predator had more to it! This one uses the boring paint-by-numbers formula of modern action movies:

- Group a bunch of misfits in a team against their will, with a bit of strife between them
- Have them fight a common enemy
- Kill them off one by one, only the main couple survives
- ?!??!
- Profit

For "variety", change the scenery/location uke:

Normally I don't expect too much of these kind of remakes but some couple of hours of entertainment with popcorns at cinema.

It's common that trailers have deleted scenes, or sometimes exaggerated ones. That scene was in the movie, but for the trailer they added more predator laser sights in post-processing. In the movie, there was only one laser sight on Brody.
